The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the human resources staff on daily tasks and special projects while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.


· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Business Administration/ Communications preferred or 1-2 years of experience within field

· Knowledge of primary sports is a plus

· Strong ability to balance multiple priorities and perspectives

· Ability to interact with and influence all levels of internal and external contacts

· Able to be part of a community and work in a team environment

· Proficiency in the use of Windows and Microsoft Office Applications; Word, Excel, Outlook

· Open to taking direction

· Understanding of ADP systems is a plus

· Strong communication skills

· Must be adaptable to working in a rapidly changing and evolving environment


· Responsible for the full administrative process of onboarding of new employees.

· Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information

· Maintain and facilitate employee charts (contact information, reviews, PTO tracking, hire tracking, etc.)

· Ensure that all required signs (Compliances) and postings are complete and legible

· Implement and administer employee policies while identifying ways to improve policies and procedures

· Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience

· Keeping up-to-date awareness of the essential HR laws (ACA, FMLA, EEO, workers comp, etc.)

· Understanding and helping to facilitate with company 401k

· Assisting with company events when needed

· Handling exit interviews when needed

· Creating new personnel files with the help of managing I-9 binders for active and terminated employees

· Creation of Organization work flows

· Clerical notices/termination write ups when needed

· Facilitation of company health care awareness

Pay: $36,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
