Junior Linux Software Developer Zymbit - Goleta, CA 93117

We are looking for a Linux developer who can build code that integrates Zymbit's embedded security technologies into a wide range of customer applications. You will have the opportunity to be involved in various aspects of product development and customer projects, ranging from design to finished product delivery. We are interested in people with a strong sense of direction and a desire to be part of a creative team.
Responsibilities

Involved in the development and design of host side APIs in various languages for existing software components
- Maintain existing host side software components that interface to Zymbit hardware

Assist in building and maintaining upcoming software releases
- Interface with customers as needed in order to replicate issues and to provide solutions
- Perform refactoring of existing software components as necessary
Necessary Skills
- Familiarity with writing user space applications in Linux
- Experience with various hardware communications interfaces including i2c, SPI, USB, UART
- Experience various Languages including C/C++, Python, Bash
“Extra Credit” Skills
- Experience with Raspberry Pi
- Experience with OpenSSL and libcrypto
- MQTT
- JSON Web Tokens
- Experience with TLS
- Experience with VPN
- Certificate generation and management
- Experience with Javascript, Go
