I am a seasoned programmer who, since retiring from full time commercial IT work, has developed expertise in Microsoft and Google Office software. Primarily focused on Excel spreadsheet work with expertise in VBA macros, I have worked on hundreds of project for many clients ranging from small bug fixing jobs to major developments which have stretched over a number of years. In my commercial career, I worked as a programmer, tester and designer before moving into management. I spent over 10 years, as a contractor, managing the design testing and deployment of software for a number of banks, a telecoms company and Sony’s PlayStation website. My experience of working at both the coding and client design interface levels gives me a distinct advantage in producing software that really meets the client’s requirements, by bringing a different constructive IT perspective to real world solutions.
